St. Gamaliel Fellowship | Society for Hebrew Christian Theology & Liturgy

The St. Gamaliel Fellowship gathers Jewish believers in Christ who cherish the idea of tradition, apostolic succession, treasures of the liturgy and who are committed to making them manifest.

SGF’s work entails Jewish reappropriation of the substance of the faith and of the core elements of the universal body of Christ.

By delving into the mystery of the Church as it has been expressed through the variety of her traditions we are seeking to unveil the messianic mystery that has always dwelled in the heart of the Jewish nation and their tradition.

There are three equal tiers of membership which we call “Tribes”.

  • Ger Toshav may not have Jewish ancestry but are passionate about collaborating with the SGF.
  • Zera Yisrael is anyone with Jewish ancestry interested in collaborating with SGF (unstrictly defined as having a Jewish grandparent).
  • Ha’Aiyn-Bet is a designation for elders such as theologians, pastors, priests and rabbis who advise the society.
